Rent a permanent Work Station in the hart of Haslemere
So many people no longer work from offices any more due to high rents and commuting costs. Working from home has its advantages, but also its distractions and disadvantages. So next came coffee shop working. A place to work with WiFi and refreshments on tap. But even that has its downsides depending on how busy the coffee shop is! So we have come up with "Upstairs at Hems". You can rent one of seven dedicated work stations on a monthly basis, set in a smart but relaxed business environment.
We've tried to combine the best of the "coffee shop workspace", with the "shared office space", and we think you'll rather like it.
On the first floor at Hemingways we have created a shared office environment stylishly décorés to be an inspiring workspace but still with an inviting cosy and Hemingways feel. Furnished to suit working, either co-working or as an individual, with personal charging points, 240v and USB charge points, high-speed WiFi, printer facilities, and everything you want from an office environment with the added bonus of the full Hemingways hospitality experience. There is a dedicated kitchenette where you can access complimentary tea and filter coffee or you can be fed and watered while you work with the full Hemingways service at your fingertips! We even have a lounge seating area so you can pull away from your "desk" and chill for a while or chat and network with other users. It quite frankly is a brilliant space to work in and grow your business.
How it works
So… we have seven L-shaped desk/workstations set out in two separate rooms, each with their own under-desk drawer cabinet. There are electric points to each station and USB charging ports. Once rented, your station is your station. You can leave your own screens, computers etc there and your own bits and pieces of working paraphanalia…even your own cactus!
We are open seven days a week with access to the business club from 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Saturday and 9.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays. We are open bank holidays are only shut on Easter Sunday and a couple of days around Christmas, depending on how the dates fall.
Access to upstairs can be via the coffee shop or from a rear entrance door that leads you straight upstairs into the office space. You have full use of the kitchenette upstairs, and a dedicated business club WC upstairs, so no queueing with the coffee shop public!
You also benefit from a High Street postal address for your business which has great advantages. (Postage to be sent to this address is restricted to letter and A4 packages).
There is high-speed wifi dedicated to the business club. Printing can be done at a small cost per item. It's a workspace...but not as you know it!
Each work-station costs £385 plus VAT per month and can be rented on a month-to-month basis, with just one month's notice required to leave. Rental is paid on the 1st of the month in advance and a one month deposit is taken.
