So many people no longer work from offices any more due to high rents and commuting costs. Working from home has its advantages, but also its distractions and disadvantages. So next came coffee shop working. A place to work with WiFi and refreshments on tap. But even that has its downsides depending on how busy the coffee shop is! So we have come up with "Upstairs at Hems", a whole new take on the shared workspace principle.
We've tried to combine the best of the "coffee shop workspace", with the "shared office space" environment, and we think you'll rather like it!
So...you register as you come in, and sign out as you leave. Let's suppose you've been there for an hour and fifty minutes, and you've had a couple of cups of coffee and a salad, then you've spent over £11.90 (2 x £5.95 per hour) so you pay your bill and the facilities have been free. If you've drunk and eaten less than that, you just pay £11.90!
Given the spend of most visitors we experience, (and the deliciousness of our cakes!) these mean you have the perfect working space and facilities at no cost other than your refreshments!
